Robotics Company Offers New Autonomous Cleaning Solution

Entrepreneur and microbiologist Diana Brugh announced the formation of AutoBio Reduction. The company will fill an essential need for reliable and safe disinfection of industrial facilities and office buildings via a line of autonomous UV-C robots.
The UVNinja can be programmed for a variety of cleaning missions, and it works without human assistance by utilizing medical-grade ultraviolet C lighting. This unique combination of UVC and autonomous technology ensures disinfection of all programmed areas with no chemicals or waste generated. This includes those areas that may not be cleaned due to security and privacy concerns. The robot is able to interface with elevators and automated doors in order to navigate company facilities, multiple floors, and sections. After completing its mission, the robot is able to return to and dock at the charging station autonomously. It does not require regular human interaction after the initial setup process.

Diana and her husband, Jason, a robotics engineer, saw a need in society and combined their knowledge to create these robots. "Disinfection is an important, ongoing issue that is especially critical in today's environment. While there are existing techniques, none available are as safe from human error, and none can disinfect with this level of efficiency or autonomy," said Jason Brugh, Director of Engineering and Co- founder.
